MEET ADAM
MEET ADAM
My name is Adam Schneider, I am a sustainability advocate, climate champion, and community organizer, and I am running to be one of your next at-large members of the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board.
I was born and raised in the Twin Cities and moved to Minneapolis after graduating from college in 2021 to be closer to my partner. I soon started working with the Little Earth community around climate resiliency, which led me to join the effort to protect the Roof Depot building in the East Phillips neighborhood. Since then, I have collaborated on various campaigns, and I now focus on food and energy justice, protecting and improving community gardens and connecting people to clean and affordable energy.
I am running because I believe the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board can be a vehicle to advance climate and environmental justice. By working with the community, our park system can be an integral part of an equitable, resilient, and vibrant Minneapolis.
This is a grassroots campaign focused on serving the people of Minneapolis. We hope to earn your support throughout our campaign. If you have any comments, questions, concerns, etc., please feel free to reach out to us by email or social media.
